All our pumpsets are highly energy efficient, saving 40% of energy compared to other pumpsets. The Bureau of Energy Efficiency has certified our pumps with the 5 star grade. We are also proud of the fact that 96% of our pumpset construction materials/parts are 100% recyclable, further endorsing our commitment to a smarter, safer planet.

We believe that each one can contribute towards offsetting the carbon footprint and diminishing Global Warming through afforestation & sustainable agricultural practices. Towards this end, we have implemented Organic Farming across 120 hectares of land at Vedasandur in South India that include coconut, mango, tamarind plantations, etc.,

Empathizing with the plight of the elderly, we initiated the concept of setting up a home for them. The Darbari Elders Home was thus conceived with the aim of giving a dignified life to the poor elderly citizens of the country.

Besides our commitment to the environment and the elderly, we are passionate about providing quality education to empower the youth. We firmly believe that education is the transmission of civilization. A step in this direction is the establishment of Info Institute of Engineering at Coimbatore that is aimed at producing quality engineering professionals to shape the country’s progress in the near future.

Deccan plays an important role in enhancing the future of the youngsters by providing quality Physical Education and Sporting opportunities. Our efficient and professional sports team provides training to help talented volleyball players. The Deccan Volleyball team has won various titles in All India level championship competitions.

Kanapathy Charitable Trust is our dedication to serve the immediate community. One of the recent initiatives of the trust is the Darbari Elders Home, a special care centre for senior citizens. The trust also supports a school, free medical care and a community hall at Kottur Devinaickanpatti in the memory of K.K.Veluchamy.

Dharbhari Charitable Trust is the most recent addition to our group of entities. This as primarily started to make quality technical education affordable for rural engineering students and those aspiring to gain a practical, technical degree. Info Institute of Engineering has been established as part of this trust. More such technical institutes are in the making.

An old Deccan Pump is not just worthless rubbish; it is still a valuable resource. Generally between 90 & 99% of our pumpset construction materials/parts are 100% recyclable, further endorsing our commitment to a smarter, safer planet. We continue to innovate and improvise our pumpsets to keep the pump LIFE CYCLE COST as low as possible.

Approximately 20% of the world’s total power consumption is used for running of the pumps. As a result there is excellent potential for environmental improvement.
